Sports Medicine Clinical Education

The Sports Medicine Clinical Education Program at Clover High School provides a wonderful opportunity for students to take part in clinical experiences in the athletic training and sports medicine fields. Our Athletic Training Student Aide program allows students to work with our athletic teams under the close supervision of our certified athletic training staff. The CTE department’s Sports Medicine classes include Sports Medicine 1, Sports Medicine 2, and a capstone course, Sports Medicine 3 Honors. These courses provide a comprehensive education about the athletic training profession and other related sports medicine fields. Students in Sports Medicine 3H through a partnership with Specialty Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy, and Clover High School Athletic Training are provided with an amazing opportunity to gain a first hand experience with patient care in an orthopaedic office setting, physical therapy clinic, and an athletic training clinic setting. We are very proud to be able to provide these opportunities, and are greatly appreciative of the experience these community partners provide for our students.
