COACH DANIEL PEREZ NAMED NEW HEAD COACH OF CLOVER HIGH SCHOOL WOMEN'S VARSITY SOCCER
Clover High School is proud to announce the appointment of Coach Daniel Perez as the new Head Coach of the Women’s Varsity Soccer Team. Coach Perez brings a wealth of experience to the program, with 17 years of coaching experience, including 13 years at the high school level. A familiar and respected figure in the Clover soccer community, he has spent 10 of those years with the Clover Men’s Soccer program, where he helped shape the Blue Eagle culture.
Joining Coach Perez on staff is Coach Sam Lopez, who returns this season with seven years of experience developing and training girls in the Clover community. His strong rapport with current players and deep commitment to youth development will be a key asset to the program.
Coach Meg Smith also joins the coaching staff and will lead the JV Girls team. A four-year collegiate starter at both Florida Atlantic and Coastal Carolina, Coach Smith brings a high level of playing and coaching experience that will greatly benefit the program’s younger athletes.
In addition to his high school coaching success, Coach Perez currently serves as the Director of Clover Elite FC, a local non-profit soccer organization focused on developing well-rounded youth athletes both on and off the field. His dedication to player development and his passion for the game make him an outstanding choice to lead the Blue Eagles into a new era.
Please join us in welcoming Coach Daniel Perez to his new role as Head Coach of Clover Women’s Varsity Soccer. We look forward to an exciting new chapter for the program under his leadership.
